he Indo-Aryan migration theory[note 1] proposes that the Indo-Aryans migrated from the Central Asian steppes into South Asia during the early part of the 2nd millennium BCE, bringing with them the Indo-Aryan languages. The theory proposes migrations originating from the Sintashta culture
